The Master Plan for the Hickory Ridge Mall Revitalization Project will be comprehensive with several components that will continue to develop and stabilize the community well beyond its five-year development schedule.  The project timeline and costs include five phases as follows:

Phase One – Cost Estimate $8,000,000

• 32 retail spaces occupied
• 10 community and social services agencies
• 8 food court vendors
• 2 training and education centers
• 3 family entertainment stops (carousel and movie theaters)

Phase Two – Cost Estimate $7,000,000

• 18 medical and various health service offices (70,000 square feet)
• 15 additional community and social services agencies
• 4 additional food court vendors
• 15,000 square-foot child care and development center
• 2 additional training and education centers
• Incredible Pizza Family Entertainment Franchise

Phase 3 – Cost Estimate $9,600,000

• 72,000 square-foot banquet and conference center (including a 1,400-seat banquet room,  700-seat auditorium and various meeting, reception and classrooms; banquet kitchen, historic museum, and exhibition hall)

Phase 4 – Cost Estimate $13,300,000 (completion by 11/30/2012)

• 110,000 square-foot youth, enrichment, and entertainment center (including a roller-skating rink, recording studios, and computer lab)
• 156,000 square-foot business center or Hispanic cultural arts center

Phase 5 – Cost Estimate $14,600,000

• 60-80 unit senior independent living facility (completion by 8/31/2014)
• 1,000-seat outdoor amphitheater and performing arts complex

Total Projected Cost for Five Phases: $52,500,000
