Under a unique tensile fabric shell covering the main seating area, more than 1,000 people enjoy comfortable shelter from rain and sun, while the open lawn beyond accommodates young families with blankets and picnic baskets.

A band shell surrounding the stage not only enhances sound quality, but also contains dressing rooms and performance support areas while refreshment stands and restrooms occupy nearby pavilions.

To the east, a future development site will house an arts center, offering classes and workshops, and providing additional rehearsal and support space for the amphitheater. A complementary site to the west will contain a commercial development that serves the daily needs of seniors residing in the onsite senior housing, and of the adjacent neighborhood. Ample open green space completes the community.

The Hickory Ridge Senior Independent Living Facility, a 70-unit senior rental apartment development, will impact the community by eliminating slum and blight, while offering affordable and safe living for senior citizens. The entire community will benefit from this beautiful facility, as it will be eye-catching and environmentally-friendly.

The mall project will potentially create over 750 permanent jobs. In Phase One, the retail spaces (including social services and food vendors) will create between 250-300 permanent jobs. With the addition of Incredible Pizza, an additional 40 retail spaces, and a child care center, between 250-310 jobs will be created. The banquet hall and conference center in Phase Three will require 30-40 jobs. Phase Four will include the youth enrichment and recreation center, the business center or Hispanic cultural arts center, the outdoor amphitheater, and the skating rink, creating about 85 jobs. Finally, the 60-80-unit senior independent living facility will create 10-15 jobs.
